Considering the many points of debate about money (commodity vs government vs fiat, etc) how about decriminalizing competing currencies among individuals while the Congress audits, then abolishes, the Federal Reserve. Ending the personal income tax (while cutting foreign military and aid spending) will reign in some of the US Gov printing money for the purpose of paying taxes because only corporations would have to pay most other taxes. This is how American prosperity grew from 1870-1913.

The US problem is not only the national debt. Governments all through out history proved themselves to be capable of manipulating the money supply without any debt too. Remember Julius Caesar -he said NO to the bankers, the Soviets -had no debt system, the Founding Fathers-simply inflated (hence “Not worth a Continental” expression). Money simply should be left to a free market to originate and circulate freely. Competing private mints and currencies. Say NO to legal tender Law. Ron Paul!
